Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions are intended to define the terms and conditions governing the provision of services of the physical and online store of Destilaria Dom Dinis, located in Vila de Rei, with the tax identification number XXXXXX and a share capital of €5,000 (euros), hereinafter referred to as Destilaria D. Dinis. Sale of alcoholic beverages is limited to individuals aged 18 or over.

1. Product, Price and Content Information

Destilaria D. Dinis reserves the right to change, at any time and without prior notice, the information and commercial offers presented on the website, including products, prices, promotions, commercial conditions and services.

The images of the products available on the Destilaria D. Dinis website are for illustrative purposes only and may not exactly match the delivered product. All products are subject to stock availability.

All prices shown include the applicable VAT rates, unless otherwise stated.

2. Payment Methods

• Multibanco: After completing the order, the customer will receive payment details by email. Payment confirmation is automatic.

• MB Way: Available to customers with an MB Way account and linked mobile number. Payment confirmation is automatic.

• PayPal: Available to customers with a PayPal account.

• Credit Card: We accept Visa and MasterCard payments. All transactions are encrypted for security.

Once payment is confirmed, a proof of purchase (receipt invoice or simplified invoice) will be issued, which may be customized with the customer’s billing information.

3. Order Processing

Orders will be processed within 3 business days after payment confirmation.

If there is any issue with order processing, such as out-of-stock items or payment problems, Destilaria D. Dinis will contact the customer to resolve the issue.

Destilaria D. Dinis reserves the right to cancel orders that cannot be processed due to website errors, payment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the customer will be notified and fully refunded.

4. Delivery Service

The estimated delivery time is 1 to 2 business days for mainland Portugal, after dispatch. For the Azores and Madeira, delivery times may vary depending on the postal code.

International delivery is available to selected countries. Delivery times for international orders range from 6 to 8 business days, depending on the destination. Shipping costs vary by country.

Destilaria D. Dinis offers free delivery in mainland Portugal for orders over €90. For orders below that amount, a flat delivery fee will apply.

Destilaria D. Dinis reserves the right to change shipping fees at any time without prior notice.

Destilaria D. Dinis takes great care in preparing all orders and therefore is not responsible for any damage caused during transport.

5. Order Reception

Orders will be delivered to the address provided by the customer during the purchase process. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery address is accurate and complete.

If the customer is unavailable to receive the order, the courier may leave a delivery attempt notice with instructions on rescheduling delivery or collecting the order at a designated pickup point.

Destilaria D. Dinis is not liable for delivery delays caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

If an order is not received due to customer absence or other reasons beyond Destilaria D. Dinis' control, the order may be returned to our warehouse. In such cases, the customer will be contacted to arrange redelivery, and additional shipping fees may apply.

6. Returns and Refunds

Customers have the right to return products purchased from Destilaria D. Dinis' online store within 14 days from the date of order receipt, without providing a reason.

To exercise the right of return, customers must contact Destilaria D. Dinis via email at geral@lavradorgin.com, indicating the order number and the products to be returned. Destilaria D. Dinis will provide return instructions.

Returned products must be in their original packaging, unused, and include all accessories and documents. Destilaria D. Dinis reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of defective products or incorrect shipments.

After receiving and inspecting the returned products, Destilaria D. Dinis will issue a refund using the same payment method as the original purchase, unless agreed otherwise.

In cases of defective products or incorrect shipments, Destilaria D. Dinis will cover return shipping costs and either replace the product or issue a full refund.

The refund will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned products and confirming compliance with return conditions.

7. Order Cancellation

Customers may cancel their order and receive a full refund if the cancellation is made within one hour of completing payment.

8. Limitation of Liability

Destilaria D. Dinis is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use or inability to use the website, the purchased products, or any other service provided.

Destilaria D. Dinis does not guarantee that the website will operate uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for any losses or damages resulting from cyberattacks, viruses, or other technologically harmful materials that may infect the customer's equipment through use of the website.

Destilaria D. Dinis is not responsible for delays or failures in fulfilling its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, natural disasters, wars, pandemics, transport disruptions, or communication failures.

In no event shall Destilaria D. Dinis’ total liability to the customer for all damages and claims (whether in contract, tort—including negligence—or otherwise) exceed the amount paid by the customer for the products in question.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Destilaria D. Dinis reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice. Any changes will be published on the website and become effective immediately upon publication.

It is the customer’s responsibility to regularly review the Terms and Conditions. Continued use of the website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

If the customer does not agree with the changes, they must immediately stop using the website and services offered by Destilaria D. Dinis.
